• Born in 1954, he holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Kuwait University in 1976.

Employment Qualifications

• He worked at the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation from July 1, 1984 until his retirement on May 20, 2013.
• He held several positions in the corporation, including Managing Director for Internal Audit, Executive Assistant to the Managing Director for Internal Audit, Director of Internal Audit, Head of Internal Audit, and Senior Internal Auditor.
• Al-Roumi also worked at the Kuwait Oil Company from June 28, 1976 until June 30, 1984, and held several positions there, including Senior Internal Auditor, Internal Auditor Under Development, and Membership of the Board of Directors.
• He also held the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Kuwait Oil Tankers Company, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Kuwait Drilling Company, Chairman of the Union of Consumer Cooperative Societies, Member of the Board of Directors of the Al-Daiya Cooperative Society, Member of the Board of Directors of the Al-Dhaher Cooperative Society, and Internal Audit Consultant for the International Islamic Charitable Organization and Member of the General Assembly.
• Al-Roumi worked in many committees, including the position of Chairman of the Compensation Committee in the oil sector to assess the losses resulting from the brutal Iraqi invasion, Chairman of the Investigation Committee into Diesel Smuggling, and a member of the Purchasing and Contracts Committees in the oil sector, in addition to a member of the investigation committees and Chairman of the Fund for the Care of Families of Prisoners and Missing Persons, one of the committees of the National Committee for Prisoners and Missing Persons Affairs. He was also a member of the Population Structure Amendment Team formed by Resolution No. (1072 / Fourth) issued by the Council of Ministers on August 31, 2020, and attended many conferences and professional, supervisory, administrative and leadership training courses.
