The oil and energy sector (electricity and water) has witnessed many activities and events, especially that Kuwait is an oil-producing country characterized by huge oil projects and has its impact and important role in stabilizing the global market and in expanding its activity more and implementing related projects in addition to projects related to energy, especially electricity, water and renewable energy. Those events in 2021: January 1: The Kuwait Petroleum Corporation announces the export of the first shipment of low-sulfur diesel to Pakistan, represented by the Pakistan National Oil Company, on board the petroleum products tanker (Al-Salam-2) owned by the Kuwait Oil Tankers Company.
January 4: The Ministry of Oil announces the discovery of two new oil fields for the Kuwait Oil Company in the Jurassic layers in different regions of the country, in addition to the discovery of the extension of the northern part of the Great Burgan field as part of the field development operations.
