Under the patronage and presence of the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Oil Sheikh Dr. Nimer Fahed Al-Malik Al-Sabah and the assistant undersecretaries in the ministry, the Ministry of Oil organized this morning a ceremony for the (Oil Innovates), which aims to devise constructive ideas to develop work within the ministry in all areas of work.
Undersecretary of the Ministry of Oil Sheikh Dr. Nimer Fahed Al-Malik Al-Sabah said in his speech during the ceremony that the Ministry of Oil contributes to achieving the ambitious vision of the State of Kuwait for 2035 and its strategic directions to support innovation and excellence. To provide an incubating and stimulating work environment for innovation, and to launch initiatives, strategies and work programs that consolidate and spread the culture of innovation at the national level.
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Oil stated that the Ministry of Oil’s initiative to launch the “Oil Innovates” award in its first session came in line with the Ministry’s efforts in sponsoring creativity and the digital revolution, developing the creativity of employees and urging them to excel. Young people are able to face the challenges of the future and emulate best business practices.
He stressed that success is a continuous process based on qualified people who are able to devise solutions to all the challenges they face, adding: "I am pleased to see the Ministry of Oil's employees with such distinction and enthusiasm by launching work programs and projects that will facilitate the work cycle within the ministry, for they have all thanks and praise." .
At the conclusion of his speech, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Oil thanked and praised the efforts made by the Public Relations Department in the Ministry to organize the award, and the participants from all programs and departments.
Internal business development
In her turn, Director of Public Relations and Media in the Ministry of Oil Sheikha Tamadur Khaled Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah said that the Ministry of Oil has developed a strategic plan and work approach to become one of the local leaders in innovation and excellence, and that is why the idea of the “Oil Innovates” award came to encourage workers to build unique projects and programs. To develop internal work in all fields and disciplines.
Sheikha Tamadur Khaled Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah indicated that the award-winning projects will contribute to accelerating the pace of work and achievement within the Ministry of Oil and the oil sector as a whole, due to the association of some of them with the associated oil companies of the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation.
Prize winners
The Ministry of Oil revealed the winners of the “Oil Innovates” award, where the Dashboard and Petrozone project won first place from the Technical Affairs Program, presented by Eng. Mary Al-Awada and M. Asrar Al-Anzi.
The project to link new recruits to the training track by monitoring administrative development, the Financial and Administrative Affairs and Information Systems Program, won second place in the award, presented by Alia Ghuloom, Asmaa Al-Mohammed, Ahmed Al-Ali and Ahmed Al-Refai.
The project to develop the technical affairs building in Ahmadi (technical affairs program), which was presented by M. Hanadi Al-Hay and M. Fatima Al-Baghli, and m. Maryam Al-Fadhli, and the Knowledge Transfer and Technical Papers Unit Project (Technical Affairs Program) presented by Rashid Al-Muwaziri.
