Under the patronage and presence of His Excellency the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Oil, Sheikh Dr. Nimer Fahad Al-Malik Al-Sabah, and His Excellency the Assistant Undersecretaries, the Ministry of Oil is organizing an award ceremony (Oil Innovates) tomorrow morning, Monday, December 20, 2021, in the theater of the Oil Sector Complex.
The Ministry of Oil said in a press statement that the award, launched by the Public Relations and Media Department in the ministry several months ago, aims to adopt new work programs within the ministry, and to consolidate and spread a culture of innovation to meet the challenges facing the work process. The winning teams are scheduled to be revealed and honored.
National cadres
In this context, His Excellency the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Oil, Sheikh Dr. Nimer Fahad Al-Malik Al-Sabah, said that the Ministry of Oil supports national cadres as the main pillar of development, noting that the Ministry is keen to adopt new constructive ideas that contribute to the development of internal work, and that is why the “Oil Innovates” award came. To motivate employees to innovate to develop skills and provide a work environment that suits future aspirations and goals.
His Excellency the Undersecretary stated that employees of the Ministry of Oil play a pivotal role in the development of the Kuwaiti economy, and therefore the ministry is keen to invest in professional development programs to develop Kuwaiti talents and give Kuwaiti youth the opportunity to build their future and career path within the oil sector.
He added, "The Ministry of Oil is proud that it has a Kuwaitization rate of 100%, and that's for several years, and the ministry is keen to develop its competencies and provide support to workers with the aim of acquiring more scientific and practical experiences."

For her part, Director of Public Relations and Information at the Ministry of Oil Sheikha Tamadur Khaled Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah said that the (Oil Innovates) award aims to develop work within the ministry in all fields, noting that the award comes from the ministry's keenness to direct great care to employees.
She said that the projects and programs presented by workers in the Ministry of Oil are a great addition to the ministry in creating a generation of workers capable of leadership and keen to use modern technology in technical and economic programs and administrative and financial work within the ministry.
