The Ministry of Oil launches the "Oil Innovates" award

Sheikha Tamadur Khaled Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah: The Ministry of Oil adopts innovation as an approach and work method, embodying the vision of a new Kuwait 2035 Emphasizing its leadership and excellence in supporting innovation and innovators, the Ministry of Oil, represented by the Public Relations Department, launched the “Oil Innovates” award, which aims to invent new constructive ideas to develop work within the Ministry in all areas of work. The Ministry of Oil said in a press statement that the award recently launched by the ministry aims to discover new ideas among workers within the ministry in creating programs and projects that will facilitate business and consolidate and spread a culture of innovation to meet the challenges facing the work process. In this context, Director of Public Relations and Information at the Ministry of Oil Sheikha Tamader Khaled Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah said that the Ministry of Oil adopts innovation as an approach and method of work in various fields, embodying the lofty directives towards achieving the New Kuwait Vision 2035 and attention to innovation and the national element as the basis of progress and prosperity.  She stated that the Ministry of Oil took it upon itself to encourage its employees to employ innovations and creative ideas to improve the work cycle within the ministry, enhance individuals' awareness of the importance of innovation and its impact on their reality and future, and put forward innovations and creative ideas based on experience to find realistic solutions. Effective that supports the development process in the country and consolidates the position of the State of Kuwait in supporting creative ideas. She said that the Corona pandemic contributed to the consolidation of the conviction of the importance of strengthening employees' capabilities in the areas of innovation to develop proactive solutions to various problems and challenges facing the work environment. Award Categories Regarding the categories of those targeted in the award, Sheikha Tamader Khaled Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah said that the award targets workers in the Ministry of Oil from various departments, sectors, engineering, administrative, financial, economic and legal programmes, information systems, public relations and media. Regarding the conditions of the award, Sheikha Tamader Khaled Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah indicated that the Ministry of Oil stipulated that the applicant be an employee of the Ministry of Oil and that the participation be for an employee or a group of employees, and it is not permissible to submit more than one participation for each applicant, noting that prizes will be distributed to the first three places from Sponsoring companies and get certificates of appreciation.
