The Ministry of Oil said in a press statement that the meeting of the Council of Ministers of “OAPEC” was held under the chairmanship of the head of the current session, His Royal Highness Prince Abdul Aziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Minister of Energy in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and their Excellencies the Ministers of Energy and Petroleum participated in the meeting. in the member states of the organization.
She explained that the meeting discussed a set of topics related to OAPEC, the most important of which is the organization's draft budget (the General Secretariat and the Judicial Authority) for the year 2022 and the activities of the General Secretariat for the year 2021, including conferences, seminars and meetings that it held or participated in.
She stated that the meeting of the Executive Office, which was held in preparation for the meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Organization (OAPEC), was briefed on the memorandum of the General Secretariat on the latest developments related to the plan to activate and develop the organization's activity. All the difficulties of the General Secretariat in order to achieve the goals and strategic visions.

The "oil" added that the meeting also discussed what had been prepared from technical and economic studies specialized in the oil and gas industry, in addition to following up on environmental affairs and negotiations related to the developments of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.
She pointed out that the activities of the Arab companies emanating from the Organization (OAPEC) and the efforts of the Organization's General Secretariat in activating the relationship with companies and coordination meetings to face and overcome challenges were reviewed.
