The Ministry of Oil: Kuwait is fully committed to the agreement to declare cooperation within (OPEC Plus)

Today, Wednesday, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Oil confirmed Kuwait's full commitment to the agreement to declare cooperation within the (OPEC Plus) alliance - which includes the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and producing countries from outside - denying the existence of any prior Kuwaiti position regarding the next meeting of the alliance.
And (Oil) said in a press statement that the Minister of Oil and Minister of Higher Education Dr. Mohammed Al-Fares will participate in the 35th meeting of the Ministerial Committee for Monitoring Production, the 182nd Ministerial Meeting of (OPEC) and the 23rd Ministerial Meeting of the (OPEC Plus) alliance to be held (remotely) early next December.
The ministry explained that "the regular, periodic consultations that accompany such important meetings have not started yet, and no position has crystallized for the State of Kuwait so far regarding the directions of (OPEC Plus) during the next meeting."
The ministry added that "(OPEC Plus), through consultation, coordination, and the announcement of the cooperation agreement, does everything that contributes and supports the stability and balance of markets," noting that "the State of Kuwait always supports collective action within the framework of the (OPEC Plus) agreement, after consultation and studying the conditions of the oil markets within a framework of action." The joint technical and ministerial committees to monitor production as usual.
