The Ministry of Oil signs a memorandum of cooperation with the Kuwait Society for Strategic Planning

With the aim of cooperation and coordination between the two sides to achieve the public interest, the Ministry of Oil signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Kuwait Society for Strategic Planning, this morning, Monday, November 22, 2021. The strategic partnership between the two parties aims to achieve knowledge partnership and optimal cooperation in the areas of strategic planning in all relevant topics.
The memorandum of cooperation was signed by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Oil, Sheikh Dr. Nimr Fahad Al-Malik Al-Sabah, and Dr. Manal Al-Hasawi, Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Kuwait Society for Strategic Planning.
The signing of the memorandum of cooperation was attended by a number of Ministry of Oil officials, they are the Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Oil for Technical Affairs, Eng. Khaled Walid Al-Dayen, and the Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Oil for Administrative, Financial Affairs and Information Systems Fadel Sayed Abbas Sayed Ali. On the side of the Kuwait Society for Strategic Planning, the Vice President of the Society was also present. Rehab Al-Tawari, Secretary of the Society Abdullah Al-Alab, Member of the Advisory Committee Abdulaziz Al-Turki, Member of the Board of Directors and Treasurer Ali Al-Holi.
The Ministry of Oil said in a press statement that the memorandum of cooperation aims to coordinate and cooperate between the Ministry of Oil and the Kuwait Society for Strategic Planning, as well as raising the professional level of various authorities and developing their scientific competencies in the field of strategic planning by providing consultations, scientific studies and specialized training in order to advance knowledge and achieve professional integration. .
She indicated that the two parties agreed to work on stimulating all knowledge partnerships and establishing cooperation in all common issues related to the areas of strategic planning and what it contains of renewable knowledge related to the work of the Ministry of Oil in order to achieve the public interest in terms of improving the quality of performance, raising the level of human resource and achieving effectiveness.
"Al-Naft" said that the cooperation protocol between the Ministry of Oil and the Kuwait Society for Strategic Planning included exchanging visits and supporting communication between them to strengthen joint cooperation and continuous coordination in the areas of strategic planning.
She noted that the memorandum of cooperation supports the submission of all issues related to planning, strategic communication, change management and related challenges, development projects and various reports and studies with transparency to the Kuwait Society for Strategic Planning, with the aim of working according to an evolutionary strategy, which enhances more effectiveness and flexibility in work, and also supports the association Kuwait for Strategic Planning, by providing advisory services and professional development, and placing the Ministry of Oil in a position of renewed link with all knowledge institutions and relevant local and international organizations.
The Ministry of Oil indicated that the memorandum of cooperation stipulated the need to identify topics and projects related to the areas of planning, strategic communication and change management in the field of petroleum wealth and related matters, and to give them priority in various professional development services and advisory support in common topics agreed upon between the two parties, and the two parties agreed to form a team Joint work to enhance cooperation and grant the required facilitation to solve various challenges, and follow up on the implementation of what was stated in this memorandum. The joint work team also meets either through remote visual communication in one of the agreed electronic programs or in person at the headquarters of the Ministry of Oil or the Kuwait Society for Strategic Planning.
