His Excellency Engineer Jamal Issa Al-Loughani, Secretary General of OAPEC, honored his predecessor, Professor Ali Sabt bin Sabt, in the presence of His Excellency Dr. Badr Hamed Al-Mulla, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Oil, and Sheikh Dr. Nimer Fahad Al-Malik Al-Sabah, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Oil and representative of the State of Kuwait in the Executive Office of the Organization. Eng. Al-Loughani began his speech by welcoming the attendees and praising the achievements made by his predecessor Ben Sabt during his assumption of the duties of the General Secretariat of the organization for the last three years, which would support the work and activity of the organization. Al-Loughani praised the tireless efforts made by all the previous secretaries-general of the organization that resulted in The work and activity of the organization has developed since its founding in 1968. Al-Loughani said that he will spare no effort to complete the path of his predecessors by doubling efforts to shoulder the responsibility entrusted to him for the interest of all Arab member states of the organization. For his part, Mr. Bin Sabt congratulated his successor, Eng. Al-Loughani, for assuming the duties of the General Secretariat of the Organization, wishing him every success in completing the process of activating the organization's activity and for the benefit of its member states.
