The Ministry of Oil said in a press statement that the digital transformation award, which was launched on March 28, 2021, in cooperation with Schlumberger, is nearing completion, and the participating winners from various parties have been revealed on the ministry's website (www.moo.gov.kw) on Monday. The Ministry of Oil stated that the award targets a number of relevant specialized segments to establish an advanced digital oil program that aims to reduce the time period, reduce risks related to health, safety and the environment, reduce operations operating costs and increase and improve production.

And the technical and technological sector in the Ministry of Oil, in cooperation with the Public Relations Department, to supervise and prepare the award with success partners.
The Ministry of Oil indicated that the entities participating in the Digital Transformation Award are: Ministry of Oil, Kuwait University, Public Authority for Applied Education and Training, Kuwait Oil Company, Kuwait National Petroleum Company, Kuwait Gulf Oil Company, Schlumberger Kuwait Company, Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research, Australian College in Kuwait (ACK) and the American University of the Middle East
(AUM).
Regarding the areas of the award, the Ministry of Oil said that it contains 3 areas: the first field is data analysis and converting it into digital data, the second field is related to monitoring the efficiency of pumps, and the third field is design and programming of data panels (for the third category only / the group of technical specialties in
Oil Ministry).
Regarding the awards, the Ministry stated that the first category of awards will be in which the best two teams (the first and second) will get opportunities to join training courses (a total of 6 people) at Schlumberger and based on the performance in the training, an opportunity will be provided to get a job in Schlumberger. As for the second category of prizes It includes awarding the best two teams a training program in one of the education and training centers provided by Schlumberger on innovation
Digital in the oil and gas industry.
Regarding the third category of awards, the Ministry of Oil stated that it includes awarding the best two people who designed a digital dashboard to a training program held by experts at Schlumberger Kuwait.
The Ministry of Oil concluded its speech by saying: “The importance of the award lies in encouraging our young national cadres to participate constructively in digital transformation to cover all stages of the oil industry, and provide job opportunities for Kuwaiti youth in the oil sector.”
