Kuwaiti Oil Minister: The (Green Saudi Arabia) and (Green Middle East) initiatives will achieve a qualitative leap in the climate change system in the region

Kuwaiti Minister of Oil and Minister of Higher Education Dr. Mohammed Al-Fares confirmed that the initiatives of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (Green Saudi Arabia) and (Green Middle East) will achieve a qualitative leap in the climate change system in the region.
In a statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), Minister Al-Fares praised the great role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in presenting the two initiatives, describing such initiatives as a role model.
He added on the sidelines of the opening of the first edition of the annual forum of the (Green Saudi Arabia) initiative in (Riyadh), "We will contribute to it as we extend our hands to our brothers in the Kingdom for their participation in this initiative and in all initiatives at the level of greening or the use of renewable energies and the use of hydrogen energy as a modern technology."
He added, "We will have interviews with Saudi Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman to discuss with him these initiatives in which we will have a role and participation to support the Kingdom and benefit from Saudi expertise," noting that "any Saudi success is a success for us in Kuwait."
Minister Al-Fares expressed his thanks to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and the Saudi youth who put this initiative on the roadmap that will be their future.
The Crown Prince and Deputy Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, Prince Muhammad bin Salman, launched the first edition of the annual forum of the "Green Saudi Initiative" in Riyadh, with the participation of a number of Saudi and international ministers and specialists.
The State of Kuwait will participate in the forum with a delegation that includes Minister of Oil and Minister of Higher Education Dr. Mohammed Al-Fares, Director General of the Environment Public Authority and Chairman of the Board of Directors Sheikh Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Hamoud Al-Sabah, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Oil Sheikh Dr. Nimr Fahad Al-Malik Al-Sabah, and CEO of the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation Hashem Hashem.
