And in the presence of His Excellency the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Oil, Sheikh Dr. Nemir Fahad Al-Malik Al-Sabah. The Ministry of Oil said in a press statement that the memorandum of cooperation aims to coordinate and cooperate between the Ministry of Oil and the Municipal Council to achieve the public interest. She stated that the Ministry of Oil is responsible for managing the oil sector in the country, where the law entrusted it with managing the affairs of oil wealth, exploiting and developing it to ensure the development of the state's resources and increasing its national income, in cooperation with the relevant governmental bodies and institutions, including the Municipal Council, which supervises projects and their urban sites and determines their uses. Land, noting that the memorandum of cooperation will have a great impact in achieving the public interest. The Ministry of Oil indicated that it was agreed to form a joint working group to facilitate expediting the resolution of any outstanding issues that require speedy completion, as well as following up on the implementation of the articles of the memorandum of cooperation, provided that the joint working group meets in the municipal center or at the Ministry of Oil.
