(Kuwait Oil) inaugurates the project of gas interconnection lines from the permanent facilities facilities in Al-Zour Complex

The Kuwait Oil Company, represented by Gas Operations Group, has launched the gas interconnection lines project from the permanent facilities facilities for importing liquefied natural gas in the Al-Zour oil complex with its gas lines network, which covers all consumers of lean gas in the State of Kuwait (it is the natural gas that is produced after refining operations and is prepared for direct use in industrial processes, electricity generation, etc.). Director of the Gas Operations Group in (Kuwait Oil) Hamad Al-Zuwair said in a press statement today, Thursday, that this inauguration comes as a result of the efforts of many workers in the oil sector who worked during the past years to complete this vital project. Al-Zuwair added that the network of lines is designed in a way that allows it to receive all the required quantities that come from the Al-Zour complex of the Kuwait Integrated Petroleum Industries Company (KIPIC), explaining that the workers in this project at the Kuwait Oil Company are fully prepared to meet any future requirements. And he indicated that the gas pipeline network began yesterday to receive quantities of imported liquefied gas from the tanks of the (KIPEC) company, and the gas was pumped through the network to electric power stations and water distillation. He stated that this project would ensure the provision of clean gaseous fuel needs for the electric power and water distillation plants of the Ministry of Electricity and Water, as well as strengthening the industrial sector in the State of Kuwait. He pointed out that the project will contribute to providing these stations with cleaner fuel to preserve the environment in Kuwait, and therefore its benefits are great in the environmental and economic fields. He pointed out that this project reflects the great harmony and harmony between all the companies and sectors affiliated with the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation, which cooperated in order to provide all industries and sectors in Kuwait with the various types of fuel required.
