Kuwaiti (KIPIC): Al-Zour Refinery exports the first shipment of low-sulfur fuel oil

Kuwait Integrated Petroleum Industries Company (KIPIC) announced today, Tuesday, the export of the first shipment of high-quality low-sulphur fuel oil produced by Al-Zour Refinery to Singapore on board the ship (Ridgbury Nicholas A).
The official spokesman for KIPIC, Abdullah Al-Ajmi, told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that the tanker (Ridgebury Nicholas A), affiliated with the Singaporean British Petroleum Company, docked at the export dock at Al-Zour refinery yesterday, Monday, and was filled with the required product this morning.
He added that this shipment is the first bid awarded to a major oil company for low-sulfur fuel oil produced from the Al-Zour refinery, which had previously offered for export 100,000 tons of the product, which were shipped yesterday and today.
He explained that this achievement was made in cooperation and coordination with the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation represented by the global marketing sector, stressing that the export of this shipment is an important achievement that will open promising European and international markets for Kuwaiti oil products, which will enhance the prestigious economic position of the State of Kuwait as a reliable strategic partner in the global energy markets.
