The State of Kuwait raises its proposals on the petroleum media strategy for the Gulf states after updating it
The Ministry of Oil announced its participation in the fifth meeting of the Petroleum and Gas Committee of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, which was held virtually via video communication technology today, Monday, November 21, 2022.
The Ministry of Oil stated in a press statement that the representative of the State of Kuwait in the Petroleum and Gas Committee for the Gulf States (Director of Public Relations and Media) Sheikha Tamader Khaled Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah will attend the aforementioned meeting, where it is scheduled to raise Kuwait's proposals on the petroleum media strategy for the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, which The State of Kuwait has updated it in addition to the State of Kuwait's proposals regarding the Petroleum Media Specialists Committee.
The Ministry of Oil indicated that the meeting is scheduled to discuss preparations for the Fifth Petroleum Media Forum, setting the date of the forum and the host country.
In this context, Sheikha Tamader Khaled Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah said that the State of Kuwait has updated the petroleum media strategy of the GCC countries for the coming years to express the aspirations and plans of the GCC countries towards their petroleum policy and interests, and is working to clarify and highlight the petroleum policies of the GCC countries, maintain oil markets and achieve balance in Supply and demand rates.
She stated that the developments and changes in the petroleum fields called for the development of a strategy for petroleum media that is flexible to keep pace with developments, taking into account its evaluation and review every 3 years or whenever the need arises.
