His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Oil visits the Kuwait National Petroleum Company

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Oil Dr. Bader Al-Mulla confirmed that the environmental fuel project has achieved a qualitative leap for the oil sector by improving the quality and level of (National Petroleum) products, which provided more profitable opportunities to sell products in global markets.
This came in a press statement by Minister Al-Mulla, quoted by a statement issued by the (National Petroleum) to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) after his inspection visit today, Saturday, to the Kuwait National Petroleum Company, the first for him since assuming his position within the new government formation.
Al Mulla stressed the importance of committing to applying the best international programs and methods used in the fields of health, safety, security and the environment, considering that this is a major priority as it is directly related to the sector's responsibility in maintaining the safety of workers and securing oil installations.
In this regard, he expressed his understanding of the nature of the sector's work, which makes it more vulnerable than others to accidents and potential risks, stressing that the role of sector officials is to take all necessary measures and measures to preserve the lives of workers.
He called for paying attention to the Kuwaiti human element and providing it with more skills and capabilities that contribute to its advancement, especially modern training and rehabilitation programmes.
He praised the efforts of successive generations of the company’s leaders and employees and their role in increasing the profitability of Kuwaiti oil products through their keenness to develop its human cadres, modernize its facilities and facilities, and keep pace with environmental requirements and standards for global markets.
The statement stated that the minister, accompanied by the leaders of the sector and the company, visited the Mina Al-Ahmadi refinery, where he toured the field during which he was assured of the progress of its production operations and met the workers and members of the refinery's fire team, praising their constant dedication and sincere efforts.
During the visit, Al-Mulla held a meeting with oil leaders, in which he called for strengthening cooperation between the CEOs of the Corporation and its subsidiaries in order to achieve the goals and aspirations of the Kuwaiti oil sector.
He stressed that the appointment of leadership positions in the sector companies contributes to taking the right decisions at the right time, warning of the negative repercussions that may affect the work of this vital sector as a result of the delay in decision-making.
He listened to a set of visions and ideas related to the current and future projects and plans of the National Petroleum Corporation, and promised to overcome all obstacles that might hinder the company's performance of its tasks to the fullest.
Then he watched a visual presentation about the company that included the most prominent stations in its history and the achievements it achieved throughout its 60-year history, especially the major projects it implemented during the last phase, foremost of which is the environmental fuel project and the fifth gas line.
