Minister Al-Mulla pays a visit to the Kuwait Oil Company and inspects some of its facilities
Kuwait - October 22 - In his first visit since assuming his position in the new government earlier this month, Dr. Badr Hamid Al-Mulla, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Oil, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation, paid a visit to the Kuwait Oil Company.
He was received at the company's main building in Ahmadi City by Sheikh Nawaf Saud Nasser Al-Sabah, CEO of Kuwait Petroleum Corporation, Acting CEO of KOC Khaled Al-Otaibi, and a number of deputy CEOs and officials in the oil sector.
During the meeting with the leaders in the main building, a visual presentation was given to Minister Al-Mulla on the Kuwait Oil Company, which included the most prominent stations in its history, the achievements it has achieved, the projects currently being implemented, as well as the future plans that fall within the oil sector strategy for 2040.
On this occasion, Minister Al-Mulla expressed his happiness at visiting the Kuwait Oil Company, praising the great efforts it has made during its history that spans more than eight decades, and expressing his aspiration to cooperate with all oil leaders in working hard towards achieving more achievements in the future.
The Minister also stressed his keenness to harness all capabilities to help achieve all strategic plans and future projects, as well as coordination with state agencies to overcome any obstacles that may affect the progress of the company's projects and the speed of their completion.
The minister also directed the oil sector, including the Kuwait Oil Company, to pay more attention to the Kuwaiti human element, develop it and refine its skills, which will be beneficial to society and the sector alike. Different specialities.
He also touched on the importance of health, safety, security and the environment, and demanded the need to pay attention to this aspect, which should be given priority, given its positive repercussions on the safety of individuals and facilities, and in a manner that gives excellence to the oil sector at the global level and enhances productivity.
After the meeting ended, the minister, accompanied by company and sector leaders, toured some of the company’s facilities, which began at the 22nd assembly center in the Al-Maqwa field, where he toured his facilities and met the workers there, followed by a similar visit to the surplus water facility No. 1 also in Al-Maqwa, before concluding Minister Al-Mulla visited the oil control center in Ahmadi.
