Kuwait oil achieved a new goal in reducing flaring gas rates

Kuwait Oil Company has announced a new global achievement in improving environmental conditions by reducing the rate of the natural gas burn, through the optimal exploitation of hydrocarbons according to the global health safety and environmental standards. Kuwait Oil Company said in a press release on Thursday, that Kuwait has occupied advanced positions in this field compared to leading countries in oil and gas production, where the company has reached less than one percent in the current year in a rate of gas burn that took place among the world’s leading countries. Also it was added, that this global achievement is a significant positive impact on Kuwait’s position in the world’s map in the oil and gas. Which reflects the company’s interest to keep pace with the global oil industry in the environment field. Also it was mentioned that, the environmental awareness and commitment to protect the Kuwaiti environment among the most important criteria for advancement and development, through what it can measure the level of the companies in the world especially the oil part. It was stated that this achievement comes from the social economic and environmental responsibility, which the company pays attention to the entire operations which encourages workers to work hard to find solutions, overcome challenges and place a specific mechanisms to make the most of the natural gas.
