His Excellency Deputy Minister of Oil visits OAPEC

The Secretary General of the Organization Ali Sabt Bin Sabt, Sheikh Dr. Nimer Fahed Al-Malik Al-Sabah the Under Secretary of the Ministry of Oil and accompanied by Sheikha Tamader Khaild Al-Ahmed Al-Sabah the Director of the Public Relations and Media at the Ministry of Oil, discussed the joint-future cooperation with the Secretary General of the Organization. During the meeting, the most important activities of the OAPEC and ways to enhance the cooperation between the two sides of the future were reviewed. After that, the meeting took a tour to the Organization’s library and learned about the Secretariat activities in the field of economic and technical studies. The Ministry of Oil stated in a press release during the meeting, that great efforts were done by the OAPEC’s staff and link the Ministry of Oil website with the OAPEC library, which the visitor can get access to the library and provide a hotline for inquiry by the organization. During the tour, the OAPEC library was recognized as an edifice that embraces international books, oil periodicals and magazines, as well as being the oldest specialized petroleum libraries in the Arab Countries. In addition to the advanced digital library’s work system, which is a bank for integrated information and data on the oil industry and provided to researchers, workers and to those who are interested in the oil industry and energy affairs. The Ministry of Oil mentioned during the meeting, that the future cooperation and the integration between the Ministry of Oil and OAPEC was approved in all domains. Also they insisted that, the next phase will see more cooperation in accordance with the directives members of the Council of Ministers of the OAPEC, towards activating the role of OAPEC of the Arab and International levels.
