At the beginning of the meeting, His Excellency the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Oil, Sheikh Dr. Nimr Fahad Al-Malik Al-Sabah, welcomed the attendees, praising the two sides' keenness to strengthen ways of working and exert sincere efforts for this, and the strength of the strategic ties that unite the State of Kuwait and the UAE, which are supported by the desire of the leaderships of the two countries to develop levels of coordination and cooperation in various fields. Development fields, especially those related to energy in its various forms, pointing out that the two countries have achieved many qualitative successes over the past years, hoping to continue joint work to serve the interests of both sides. The Emirati side reviewed the energy strategy in the United Arab Emirates, strategic and national indicators in the field of energy and petroleum, the ministry's initiatives in the field of oil and gas, the national strategy for hydrogen 2050 and the mechanism for following up on the indicators. At the conclusion of the meeting, His Excellency the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Oil, Sheikh Dr. Nimir Fahed Al-Malik Al-Sabah, called on the Emirati side for more coordination meetings during the coming period to consolidate relations, benefit from the distinguished bilateral relations, and explore opportunities for cooperation in the energy, oil and gas sectors and manufacturing industries, which represent a major supporter of the national economies of the two countries.
