The Ministry of Oil holds a meeting with environmental experts

- A welcome speech from His Excellency the Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Oil for Technical Affairs Eng. Khaled Walid Al-Din, the Japanese expert, Mr. Nakagawa Koichi, director of the Mitsubishi Institute for Japan, and in the honorable presence of environmental experts and specialists from the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation, the Kuwait Oil Company, the Kuwait Gulf Oil Company and the Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research. - His Excellency the Assistant Undersecretary affirmed that the Ministry of Oil continuously seeks to coordinate with the oil sector in order to achieve the implementation of the State of Kuwait's environmental commitments through international treaties and agreements it signed, in order to achieve a clean environment and an oil economy with fewer emissions harmful to the environment. - The Kuwait Oil Company reviewed its most important environmental contributions by presenting a visual presentation of the company's most important projects and contributions, presented by Eng. Ali Askar from the Health, Safety and Environment Group. - Dr. Yahya Al-Hadban from the Research Institute affirmed that the Institute, since the beginning of its establishment, has been keen on preserving the environment by promoting research work and investments in environmental and renewable energy projects inside and outside the State of Kuwait. - Mr. Nakagawa stated that Mitsubishi Research Institute is interested in cooperating with specialists in the environment and climate change sector in their various projects and transferring knowledge and experiences with the friendly Japan in the fields of environment and renewable energy.
