He added that the export of this shipment of low-sulfur diesel came in conjunction with the operation of the various production units in the environmental fuel project of the Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC), describing it as a "giant project."
He stated that (environmental fuel) aims to increase the added value of Kuwaiti wealth and raise the transformative capabilities by providing a high quality product in addition to generating wider profit margins for Kuwaiti refineries.
He stated that the environmental fuel project is also working on the production of clean, environmentally friendly materials, which raises the competitive capabilities of the sector, allows the entry of new markets and meets global requirements.
He stressed that the global marketing sector is looking to the future to increase its marketing share in the European market, stressing that the European market is one of the strategic markets for the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation, and the State of Kuwait is one of the largest suppliers of diesel.
