His Excellency the Minister of Oil honors the members of the deposit case team

His Excellency the Minister of Oil and the Acting Minister of Electricity and Water Dr. Khaled Al-Fadhel honored the members of the specialized team for following up on the dumping case filed by the Investigation Authority of the Ministry of Trade and Industry of India against Kuwait's exports of the mono ethylene glycol product and the product by Equate Petrochemical Company which his actions culminated in ending the case and closing the file from the Indian side without any impact on the exports of the State of Kuwait. A press release issued by the Ministry of Oil said that this team was formed in February 2020 by the distinguished decision of the Council of Ministers to follow up the issue with the membership of an elite group of specialists from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Oil, the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation, the Public Authority for Industry, the Petroleum Chemical Industry Company, Equate Petrochemical Company, Fatwa and Legislation Department and it was headed by His Excellency the Minister Dr.Khaled Al-Fadhel. The closure of the file in November 2020 was the result of relentless efforts, unlimited coordination and joint cooperation between the various parties to achieve the agreed goals, which are protecting the rights and interests of Kuwait globally and ending the investigation without imposing anti-dumping measures according to the lawsuit filed by the Indian authorities on the exports of a number of countries including Kuwait. His Excellency the Minister Dr. Khaled Al-Fadhel exalts the depth of the historical commercial and economic relations between the two friendly countries which is witnessing a positive development.
