A committee to follow up and monitor the implementation of health procedures and requirements issued by the competent health authorities related to combating the emerging corona virus (Covid-19) formed in the Ministry of Oil, concluded its work, after lifting Corona restrictions imposed by the Council of Ministers on April 27, 2022, amid great achievements made by the committee in Conducting work within the Ministry while preserving the health of employees and in the most difficult exceptional circumstances that coincided with the outbreak of the Corona virus and its variants.
Undersecretary of the Ministry of Oil, Sheikh Dr. Nimir Fahad Al-Malik Al-Sabah, said in a press statement issued by the Ministry of Oil, that the health requirements committee in the ministry held its first meeting on July 15, 2020, and worked for less than two years in implementing all health requirements imposed by the Cabinet and the Ministry of Health. And the Civil Service Bureau during all stages of the gradual return to life, which was approved by the Council of Ministers, where the percentage of the workforce was determined according to each stage, and the preparation of employees during shifts in line with the decisions issued by the Civil Service Bureau and the requirements of the Ministry of Health.
Sheikh Dr. Nimir Fahad Al-Malik Al-Sabah praised the strenuous efforts made by the work team of the Health Requirements Committee in the Ministry over the past period, including meetings and field tours, which had a significant impact on maintaining the health of employees in the oil sector complex, noting that the committee took many decisions with the aim of Maintaining the stability of the health situation in the country and maintaining the continuity of providing services and works in the Ministry without interruption.
Monitoring and awareness role:
For his part, the Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Oil for Technical Affairs Eng. Khaled Walid Al-Din (Head of the Health Requirements Committee in the Ministry) said that the committee was very keen throughout the period of its formation to activate the monitoring and awareness role by detecting and monitoring all departments and sectors within the ministry building, and alerting and violating all those who do not He is obligated to wear a protective mask or underestimate the decisions of health procedures, exposing himself and others to infection with the virus.
Al-Din pointed out that the Conditions Committee in the Ministry of Oil worked to raise awareness of the need to receive the Corona vaccination, which led to the vaccination rates reaching very high rates and in a short period of time in obtaining the second and revitalizing dose of approved vaccines, as well as the completion of vaccination of all service workers within the Ministry. rates of up to 100 percent.

She stated that a (Check List) has been prepared through which incorrect behaviors are monitored and the extent to which health requirements are applied to employees, and to ensure the cleanliness and safety of the building, and the readiness of the floors in terms of the presence of indicative signs and sterilization tools, and to measure the extent of commitment, and to display awareness and preventive instructions by activating The internal (Yamer) program of the Ministry and the dissemination of the program, and all health requirements and indicative advertisements for prevention were added, and the program was circulated to the private emails of employees.
Sheikha Tamader Khaled Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah indicated that the committee's work was documented, including field visits and meetings with photos, documenting the meetings held in a visual way, preparing videos about the committee's work and broadcasting them on social media, as well as documenting the process of sterilizing the oil complex building, which was carried out on a daily basis.
