Saudi Arabia: Discovery of two oil and gas fields in the north of the country

Prince Abdulaziz Bin Salman Minister of Saudi Energy has announced on Sunday that the two discoveries of the new oil and gas fields in the Northern parts of the Kingdom. According to the News Agency of Saudi Aramco discovered a gas at the Al-Hajar Plateau field at the Al-Jawf, Al-Zayt and Al-Jawab fields in the northern border region. He added that the condensate-rich gas flowed from the Al-Sara reservoir in the Al-Hajra plateau field in the east of the city (Sakaka) at a rate of 16 million cubic feet per day, accompanied by about 1,944 barrels of condensate. He added that the premium light Arab oil, which is not conventional, flowed from the Al-Shurra field in the south-east of the city of Arar at a rate of 3,189 barrels per day, accompanied by about one million and 100,000 standard cubic feet of gas per day. Meanwhile, the gas flowed from the Al-Qawara reservoir in the same field at a rate of two and 400,000 cubic feet per day, accompanied by 49 barrels per day of capacitors. Also, it was mentioned that the Saudi Aramco will continue to evaluate the quantities of oil and gas and condensates at the two fields, in order to drill more wells to determine the size of the two fields.
