Today, Sunday, March 20, 2022, the Ministry of Oil announced the opening of the Ministry’s building of the Technical Affairs Program in Ahmadi, under the patronage and presence of the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Oil Sheikh Dr. Nimer Fahad Al-Malik Al-Sabah, and in the presence of the Assistant Undersecretary for Technical Affairs of the Ministry of Oil, His Excellency Eng. Khaled Walid Al-Din.
The Ministry of Oil said in a press statement that the building of the Ministry of Oil in Ahmadi city will achieve a quantum leap in the joint business environment between the ministry and the Kuwait Oil Company, which is to preserve the sources of petroleum wealth by strengthening direct and field communication with the specialists in the Kuwait Oil Company.
During the opening ceremony, His Excellency the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Oil, Sheikh Dr. Nimer Fahad Al-Malik Al-Sabah, said that the presence of the Ministry of Oil employees in the new building after its reopening will enable technical and field discussion of the plans and objectives of petroleum operations in Kuwait and an understanding of the reality and an indicator of the ongoing dynamic changes and their effects on the current technical operations Awareness and understanding of petroleum challenges and work to develop applicable technical solutions, as well as conducting field visits to petroleum work sites, and reviewing the progress of their implementation, in order to achieve speedy decision on approvals for drilling development and exploratory wells.
Sheikh Dr. Nimer Fahed Al-Malik Al-Sabah indicated that the Ministry of Oil building will work to discuss the existing business challenges between the ministry and the Kuwait Oil Company by overcoming the difficulties it faces by discussing and implementing possible solutions as soon as possible, and refining technical skills and acquiring technical and field expertise by the ministry’s cadres. To achieve the advancement of the technical human element, and to confirm and learn about petroleum technology applications, the latest industrial practices and new innovations in the field of oil and gas.
He stressed that the Ministry of Oil will work on cooperation in the field of studies and research through joint participation in technical papers and research with specialists in the Kuwait Oil Company, in order to highlight the status and role of Kuwait Petroleum in international forums, advance areas of cooperation with the company, and accelerate the implementation of digital transformation plans, data flow and automation. joint business.
