It is worth noting that the idea of the petroleum media strategy began when the State of Kuwait submitted a paper on the impact of petroleum media on the GCC countries at the meeting of the Petroleum Cooperation Committee, which is a major player in directing public opinion. This is based on the fact that petroleum is a strategic commodity, a major source of energy, and the main driver of the economies of the GCC countries and the global economy, and because the GCC countries enjoy a distinguished global petroleum weight and position, as these countries seek to achieve their petroleum interests and achieve stability in the global petroleum markets with all parties.
