She added that the Giza sector is one of the four sectors targeted by the current exploratory phase of the Kuwait Oil Company, during which layers of the Cretaceous and Jurassic periods will be discovered in the Kuwaiti marine region. She explained that this sector is also considered one of the promising sectors in the Kuwaiti marine region because it may contain large hydrocarbon resources, based on studies, geological and geophysical data, and data derived and taken from the (Noukhatha 1) well, through which the Noukhatha offshore field was discovered, which will increase the possibility of opportunities for discovering resources.
