Symposium (Partners in Conservation and Savings), in cooperation with the Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy

The Ministry of Oil confirmed on Wednesday that the model project for using solar photovoltaic energy in the oil sector complex is the best evidence of the oil sector’s orientation aimed at taking exemplary steps towards the scientific application of renewable energy and participating in rationalization and saving.
This came in a speech by the Director of Public Relations and Petroleum Media at (Oil), Sheikha Tamader Khaled Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, during a rationalization introductory seminar within the “Partners in Conservation and Savings” campaign organized by the Ministry in cooperation with the Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy at the Oil Sector Complex Theater.
Sheikha Tamader Al-Sabah stated that the symposium aims to rationalize electricity and water and learn about the incentive program for rationalization and the program that provides access to sustainability.
It was stated that the Ministry of Oil held this symposium as part of its media campaign (Partners in Conservation and Saving), which comes within the framework of its social responsibility and participation in implementing the state’s policy of rationalization, especially in the summer.
In turn, the head of the media and awareness team for rationalization in (Electricity), Khadija Abdel Reda, stressed during her participation in the symposium the importance of participating in the Hafiz for Conservation and Save programs in order to reach sustainability.
Abdul Reda pointed out the need to rationalize electricity and water consumption and raise awareness about the importance of the electricity and water packages and how to preserve them for their sustainability, stressing the importance of participating in the Hafiz Program for rationalization and the incentives that customers participating in it will receive.
For his part, Deputy Head of the Media and Awareness Team for Conservation in (Electricity), Muhammad Al-Hattab, reviewed during the symposium the smart ways to provide electricity and water, which in turn lead to the development of sound visions regarding the State of Kuwait’s needs for electricity and water according to the optimal demand for them.
Al-Hattab stated that rationalizing the consumption of electricity and water will contribute directly to reducing the burden on public finances in addition to developing the environmental system in the country.
