Oil Minister: Kuwait supports the OPEC Plus agreement and is committed to the voluntary reduction

The Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Oil, Minister of State for Economic Affairs and Investment and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kuwait Petroleum Corporation Dr. Saad Al-Barrak confirmed that the State of Kuwait supports fully all decisions of OPEC Plus, and is committed in an integrated manner to the additional voluntary reduction of 135 thousand barrels per day from January 1, 2024 until the end of March 2024, indicating that Kuwait's production will be 2.413 million barrels per day, and praises the proactive measures adopted by the countries participating in the (OPEC +) agreement and aims to support the balance and stability of the market Oil. His Excellency reiterated that Kuwait’s stance would remain extremely vigilant, attentive and supportive to the short-term developments of the oil market in-line with the efforts of OPEC and its partners in the Declaration of Cooperation.
