Oil Minister Dr. Mohammed Al-Faris visited the joint operations area in Al-Wafra

• To view the progress of work and learn about the latest developments related to existing projects • The price of the prominent role of the Kuwait Gulf Oil Company represented by the Joint Wafra Operations Department to manage the activities and operations in the region The Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Oil and Minister of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy, Dr. Mohammed Al-Faris, accompanied by the Acting CEO of the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation, Ms. Wafa Al-Zaabi, on Saturday, February 5, 2022, toured the joint operations area in Al-Wafra, in order to review the progress of work and learn about the latest developments related to the existing projects in the region between the two sides, the Kuwaiti represented by the Kuwait Oil Company The Gulf, and the Saudi side represented by the Saudi Arabian Chevron Company. The Minister was received by the management of the Kuwait Gulf Oil Company represented by the Acting CEO, Mr. Nayef Al-Enezi, the Executive Vice President (for technical and commercial affairs) Mr. Mohammed Al-Zoubi, the Executive Vice President (for joint operations) Mr. Muhammad Al-Haimer, the Chairman of the Operational Committee for Khafji Joint Operations, Mr. Qaid Buarki, and a number of managers in the company. On the sidelines of the visit, the Minister of Oil, Dr. Mohammed Al-Faris is keen on the Ministry of Oil and the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation to provide all possible means of support for the success of the joint operations carried out by the two sides, which reflects and confirms the depth of the bilateral relations between Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. Al-Fares indicated that the ministry and the Kuwait Gulf Oil Company, in cooperation with Chevron, are taking all measures and means of security and safety to support projects aimed at increasing production in a manner that achieves feasibility and economic benefit for both sides. Al-Fares also praised the depth of the existing relations with the "partners of success" in the "Chevron" company, stressing their prominent and expected role during the next phase to face all the challenges that come in the forefront of increasing production rates and taking into account the various requirements of security and safety, and other requirements of environmental concern.
