The Ministry of Oil tightens measures to prevent the “corona” Variant

The Ministry of Oil announced the tightening of health procedures and requirements issued by the Ministry of Health related to combating the emerging corona virus, after the accelerated spread of the new mutant of the corona virus "Omicron", with the aim of preserving the health of workers and improving the health situation in work sites.
The Ministry of Oil said in a press statement, that it is a commitment from the ministry to take care of the interests and security of employees in the oil complex building, as health precautions have been tightened to preserve the safety of workers and their families, by committing to wearing protective medical masks for all workers and those present in order to preserve public health and to ensure social distancing and sterilization. Sheikh Nimer Fahad Al-Malik Al-Sabah stated that the committee is keen to intensify inspection field visits in the building of the Ministry of Oil, in order to ensure the implementation of health requirements and to monitor incorrect behaviors and take action on them, in addition to raising awareness through indicative signs and posters for distancing, as well as electronic awareness through means of communication. At the conclusion of his statements, Sheikh Nimer Fahad Al-Malik Al-Sabah called on all employees to adhere to the precautionary health and safety procedures and to follow the health guidelines followed in the Ministry of Oil and the need to inform those infected with the Corona virus to the direct official and director of the department, in order to take the necessary measures by examining the employees in contact with the work site and sterilizing the homes and work offices of the infected.
