The Minister of Oil, Mr. Mustafa Al-Shamali, the Deputy Prime Minister will head the Kuwaiti delegation in the thirty-second meeting of Petroleum Cooperation Committee for the ministries of oil and energy in the GCC to be held in Riyadh, at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Cooperation Council on the 24th of September 2013.
The Board of Directors Arab Maritime Petroleum Transport has unanimously elected at its meeting in Cairo June 21, 2013 the representative of the State of Kuwait Engineer / Adel Abdulaziz Jassim as the Chairman of the Board of Directors at its new next four-year term commencing on the first of July 2013 and ending June 30, 2017.

The Ministry of Oil announced that its website won the best e-Government Site in the Arab World competition and received the E-Government Award which was held for the fourth time for 2013 in collaboration with the Pan Arab Excellence Awards Academy and the Arab Organization for Administrative Development – one of the specialized organizations of the League of Arab Countries.
The Ministry of Oil confirmed its keenness to execute the recommendations of the First Petroleum Media Forum of the Gulf Cooperation Council Member States hosted by the State of Kuwait and added that it issued legislations in this regard.
Sheikha Tamador Khaled Al-Ahmed Al-Sabah, Supervisor of Public Relations at the Ministry of Oil, declared that the State of Kuwait hosted the Gulf Cooperation Council First Petroleum Media Forum under the slogan “Petroleum Media at Gulf Cooperation Council… Reality and Aspirations” organized by the Ministry of Oil in coordination with the Secretariat General of the Cooperation Council on March 25th – 26th 2013.

Ahmed Al Erbeid had on last Tuesday a paper work on the role of media means in spreading and enforcing oil education among communities. He pointed out to the strategy of oil media in the Gulf Cooperation Council Countries which is considered a step on the right way to unite the oil media speech between the Council Countries regarding its oil issues and interests.
